Zero the Hero

Every 10th day of school, we get a special visit from our friend Zero the Hero. He helps us celebrate the days that we have been in school. He also teaches us the important role that the zero has in a number. When he visits, he always bring us a special treat in the shape of a zero. We love doing the Zero the Hero number stomp that teaches us to count to 100. We read his special book while eating our Zero the Hero snack. We have learned that Zero's favorite number is 0 and his favorite coin is a dime. When he comes to visit, he also hides a zero somewhere in our room and we go for a hunt for it. Sometimes he is really busy or not feeling well so his sister, Zerona comes to visit. On the 100th day of school, this lovable puppet will become alive and will come for a special visit. We can't wait to meet the REAL Zero the Hero.
