Hello! My name is Aimee Bloom (formerly Aimee Frederick) and I am so excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher this year. I was born in a small town in Wisconsin. I lived there for 12 years before I moved to Alpharetta. I am the youngest of three children and have an older brother and sister. I attended middle school in Alpharetta at Haynes Bridge and high school at Milton High.
After high school, I attended the University of Georgia (Go DAWGS!!) and graduated with an Early Childhood Education degree (Pre-K through 5th) and an endorsement in Elementary Mathematics. I immediately started my masters and finished in November of 2006 with masters degree in Reading and Literacy Instruction. In the next few years, I plan to further my education by starting a specialist degree. In my 2nd year of teaching, I was nominated for Teacher of the Year.
After graduation, I did a long term sub position at LWE in 4th grade. I was then hired as a full time teacher at LWE. In August 2005, I started my first year of teaching as a kindergarten teacher. I have been teaching kindergarten ever since. This will be my 10th year of teaching at LWE. I am blessed to be able to do what I absolutely love each and every day. Being able to teach kindergarten is such a joy.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 3 years. We are blessed to have our daughter, Ella Lee Bloom. She is 1 years old. We also have a very cute yorkie poo dog named Winston. He definitely has a mind of his own and likes to have his own way.
I am a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan. I enjoy traveling, shopping, doing crafts, baking sweets, watching sports, spending time with Ella, Erik, and my family, exercising, and decorating my house.
